Eastern Virginia Medical School Transforms Online Presence with TERMINALFOUR

TERMINALFOUR today announced that it has delivered a WCMS and digital engagement solution to Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) to transform its entire online presence. As a result EVMS has bolstered communication and collaboration with current and prospective students, global research partners, 400,000 patients and 3,000 faculty, residents and staff.

EVMS has a breadth of social, academic and business remits that require personalized and focused communications. It operates a decentralized model of content ownership and responsibility across departments, reflecting unique performance metrics such as, recruiting the highest quality medical students, attracting new research partners, community engagement and quality medical services.

To deliver a consistent EVMS brand to its local, national and international audiences, it decided to invest in a centralized WCMS and digital engagement solution for both its public site – www.evms.edu – and its internal, personalized intranet.

EVMS is in a growth phase. It recently increased enrollment in nearly all of its 12 medical and health professions programs. In addition, it continues to source and secure research grants, alumni donations and international collaboration partners to advance its role as a pioneering medical school and research center at the forefront of medical advancements.
