From colleagues to collaborators - How to build relationships to create a shared vision for your website

Your university or college may all have the same goal: to create an engaging website that’s easy to use, effective, and delivers exactly what our users are looking for.

But there are many competing factors all vying for attention: internal silos; independent departmental goals; overwhelming multi-channel content; audiences including international students, prospective and current students, parents, faculty, and alumni.

Multiple stakeholders, internal silos, independent departmental goals, multiple audiences, multi-channel content: everyone has different objectives for their section of the website — and various levels of leadership and involvement.

So how do you turn colleagues into collaborators and silos into synergetic teams? Join us at this free webinar to find out.

Drawing inspiration from tried-and-true models of change, we’ll discuss how to identify the needs of your audience and clients, connect the silos, and bridge the gaps along the way.

This shift in your organizational structure can mean the difference between “here, do this” and “let’s do this together.”

You’ll leave with:

  • Best practices for becoming an agent of change

  • Change-management tools that will help you assess your organization’s readiness to prepare for, manage, and sustain web governance

  • A toolkit to help guide website decisions from creation through maintenance that includes bringing people together around a shared vision
