TERMINALFOUR web content management deal with Liverpool Hope University goes live
Dublin, 03 October, 2012 – TERMINALFOUR, a leading web content management company, today announced that it has implemented its web content management solution (WCMS) to Liverpool Hope University, creating a more modern and student-orientated website.
Liverpool Hope University is the only ecumenical university foundation in Europe. The university has two main teaching campuses, Hope Park situated in a suburb of Liverpool and the Creative Campus in Liverpool city centre. With 8,500 students, the university places a strong emphasis on creating a vibrant community among students, lecturers and staff.
TERMINALFOUR won the competitive tender to provide its WCMS, TERMINALFOUR Site Manager. It was chosen due to its extensive experience working with higher education institutions and the ease of use of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager for non-technical staff.
TERMINALFOUR has developed a student and staff gateway for the university that contains all the information students need, including library resources, an information portal containing career and well-being advice, in addition to regular services such as course management system Moodle and student records from the new website.
With the implementation of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager, individual departments can continue to take responsibility for updating their sections of the website, providing them with the opportunity to communicate better with their students. The addition of robust workflows on the website ensures the overall style of the website can be maintained throughout.
The university is committed to continuing its policy of delivering more and better online services, enabling effective communication with all its stakeholders. In the coming months it will add a new events calendar and online forms providing more ways for current and prospective students to interact with the University.
Gemma Peers, corporate brand and media manager, Liverpool Hope University said, "TERMINALFOUR's many years of experience with higher education institutions around the world proved to be invaluable to this project. The team was extremely proactive and flexible to our requests as the implementation progressed."
"Our new website will enable us to reinforce our community culture with current students and also position us as a modern university to prospective students. The website is vitally important for the recruitment of students and with TERMINALFOUR we are building an exceptional communications resource"
Piero Tintori, CEO, TERMINALFOUR, said, "We understand that higher education institutions have very specific needs. Our offering has been built with these unique requirements in mind and we provide, as standard, many in-built modules specific to the higher education market. Working with some of the most renowned higher education institutions around the world, we will continue to develop our product and services, to ensure we are providing the best web content management solution for this market."
