Superior End-user Experience

Easy to use and customisable interface

To help end-users find information inside and outside the enterprise, effective search tools must do more than return relevant results. They must provide a superior end-user experience in terms of how results are displayed and the documents they link to are viewed.

Contextual Summaries
Ultraseek can present document descriptions in search result listings by intelligently extracting relevant passages in matching documents. This helps users understand the context of query terms within a document, and eliminates the need to open irrelavant hits.

Spelling Suggest
Many unsuccessful searches are the result of incorrectly spelled query terms. Ultraseek automatically suggests alternative spellings for misspelled queries, using a dictionary dynamically built from the index. This can dramatically increase user satisfaction in information environments with complex terminology.

Smart "No-hits" Forwarding
Getting no results to a query can be just as bad as getting too many. For queries that do not return any relevant documents, Ultraseek can automatically suggest less restrictive alternative queries to broaden the search to return more documents of relevance.

Results Grouping by Site
Grouping results by website or file folder location helps users quickly sort through results list to locate the most relevant information for the task at hand.

Automatic Title Replacement
Large amounts of enterprise documents either don't have titles, have incorrect titles inherited from a template, or have titles that aren't intelligible to most users. Ultraseek can intelligently replace poor or missing document titles to help users find the right document faster.

In-document Term Highlighting
Ultraseek can automatically highlight query terms within documents so users can quickly scan retrieved documents to determine whether they contain the desired information. This is especially useful for evaluating the usefulness of longer documents.
