Content Management Performance

In practice, Site Manager is an Enterprise product and is very scalable with respect to CMS users, site visitors and stored content.  Due to the fact that Site Manager's scalability is dependant on the database and application server chosen, it is possible to scale the system to extremely high levels.  While the system can handle many millions of pieces of content and publish to hundreds of websites from a standard server, it is also possible to operate in parallel mode therefore offering complete authoring reliability.  Site Manager can utilise parallel database servers and/or application servers. Site Manager's performance is dependant on the performance of the database server utilised by Site Manager.
