TERMINALFOUR, Europe's fastest growing content management company, today announced that it has landed seven high profile contracts to power university websites with its content management solution.   The biggest of these contracts was signed with Oxford University, recently named the UK's top university for 2009.  TERMINALFOUR Site Manager is now used by thirty percent of the 'Top 50' universities in the UK.

It brings to forty the number of universities and institutes of higher education powered by TERMINALFOUR Site Manager.  The other new contracts include Ireland's largest university UCD, DIT, Selkirk College (Canada) and the Universities of York, Exeter and Bradford.

In the recently published report 'The Good University Guide', in association with the UK's Independent newspaper, the 'Top 50' universities in the UK were listed and ranked.  Of these 'Top 50', thirty percent of them are using TERMINALFOUR's Site Manager to power their websites, intranets and extranets.

Piero Tintori, CEO and Founder of TERMINALFOUR, said, "With the majority of  universities integrating their information technology, libraries and marketing departments, the higher education sector is turning to content management to enhance the access and delivery of information to its wide variety of users.

"Universities are increasingly using the website as the central medium for communicating with their publics.  As such, websites have experienced an exponential increase in information, leading to sites that are difficult to navigate, over laden with out-of-date material and as a result are failing to deliver on their fundamental role - easy access to relevant information.   Universities are turning to content management in their droves in recognition of the importance of maintaining a clean, engaging and interactive site", he added.

Tony Stark, project ,manager, business services and projects, University of Oxford, said, "We needed a Web CMS system to simplify, standardise and improve the web content management and publishing processes within Central Administration.  This will give our 50 plus website editors more time to concentrate on the quality of their sites and content.
TERMINALFOUR was selected on the basis of its ability to fulfil every requirement of our complex brief, provide a cost-effective solution and, importantly, its teams ability to work with us on a partnership arrangement."
