Largest Government bi-lingual website launched

One of the largest e-government websites in Ireland has been launched by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands. The site which is powered by TERMINALFOUR Site Manager offers extensive bi-lingual content spanning many thousands of pages including interactive forms. Site Manager ensures that the site remains WAI-AAA compliant meaning that it is accessible to all but particularly those who are visually impaired. TERMINALFOUR Win Significant E-learning Content Management Contract

TERMINALFOUR have been awarded the contract for the National Centre for Technology in Education, a body empowered to aid all primary and secondary schools in Ireland with their deployment of technology in the classroom. The project will involve the deployment of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager to manage a number of websites with content being contributed from multiple remote locations.

Full Multi Language Functionallity Introduced

An enhanced version of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager has been released allowing for the management of Internet, intranet, extranet and wireless sites in multiple languages with enhanced version control and workflow processes. Changes to website structure and design can be propagated throughout all versions of a website significantly reducing maintenance costs and improving an organisations ability to communicate with significantly larger audiences. Internet Advisory Board Website Launched

The Internet Advisory Board have launched their website which has been designed by TERMINALFOUR. The site which primarily focuses on the issues surrounding the illegal and harmful use of the Internet. The website is powered by TERMINALFOUR Site Manager allowing staff within the Department of Justice update and manage the website without HTML knowledge. The website is located at www.iab.ie

A study commissioned by the Irish Government agencies responsible for e-government has selected TERMINALFOUR Site Manager as a leading enterprise content management solution for the public sector. TERMINALFOUR has been awarded the contract for the development of the Department's Internet and Intranet strategy through the use of Site Manager, its web content management software. The project will be one of the largest Government projects this year involving bi-lingual content in-line with the Government's web accessibility guidelines.

New Corporate Identity Unveiled

TERMINALFOUR, previously known as Creative On Line Communications Limited, unveiled its new corporate identity and branding at the IQPC Web Content Management Seminar in Dublin. This coincided with the selection of TERMINALFOUR as a keynote speaker at the conference.



 

Family Friendly Website Launched

An Tanaiste, Mary Harney, launched the Family Friendly Workplace website in Dublin Castle. Funded under the National Devleopment Plan, the project involved a number of organizations including IBEC, ICTU, The Equality Authority and various Government Departments.
