Content Scheduling & Content Archiving
Content Archiving
Site Manager's capacity to pre-schedule content for archival or movement to another location in a website at a pre-selected date and time in the future ensures that authors don't have to manually manage archival and movements of content at a later date.
- Systems administrators can automate standard processes in a nominated area of a site at a pre-determined time - e.g. news items more than a month old may be moved to a news archive section within a site.
- Process owners have complete archives of all information that was published at any moment in time in the past - this has many advantages from corporate governance and even a legal vantage.
Site Manager also supports full document management standard Version Control.
Content Scheduling
Site Manager can to create and pre-schedule content approval and publication. Review dates can be entered to 'alarm' content owners to manually verify content, check for relevance/accuracy at specific milestone future dates. Site Manager can even schedule the automated release of content from staging or test environments to live environments or simply remind users at a particular date to review particular material which may no longer be relevant.
Site Manager can be preset to trigger on certain times or dates:
- content publishing
- content expiration
- content review
- content archiving
