Web Developer
The Role
This development role is based within our Professional Services department reporting to our Projects Manager.
The role involves the management and development of custom project elements from initial specification to final release to the customer. The role will particularly be based around the accessible web development environment working in technologies such as XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The role will specifically involve the following:
- Working closely with our Projects Manager to identify and specify web development projects.
- Develop and test accessible websites based on designs created by our Graphic Desigers..
The Ideal Candidate
- Will have worked as a Web Developer (even part time or freelance) for over 1 year.
- Will have excellent knowledge of various web platforms, applications and technologies. Practical experience developing accessible websites using W3C standards is be highly advantageous.
- Have experience in specifying projects and working with others to develop those specifications.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both by telephone and in writing.
- Be personally well organised, presentable, and manage ones' own time effectively.
- Build a high level of technical competency in the TERMINALFOUR product portfolio.
- Ability to work in a team environment
An interest in and experience in web and database based technologies as well hardware and operating systems including:(in order or priority)
HTML/XHTML, CSS, W3C & WAI
