The Role

Reporting to the QA Manager, this role involves quality assurance of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager Enterprise Content Management solution and associated modules.

Responsibilities

The person will be responsible for primary testing of TERMINALFOUR’s flagship product Site Manager to ensure the highest standards of quality as well as assist in the delivery of appropriate documentation.  The role will specifically involve the following:

  • Responsibility for the thorough testing of TERMINALFOUR products
  • Development of suitable test plans, guidelines, and requirements in order to provide a high level overview of the testing planned for any particular case
  • Complete thorough issue reports
  • Construction of high level reports of the QA performed
  • Consultation with developers and projects personnel to identify objectives and obtain necessary information

 

Requirements

  • IT/Computer science degree or third level equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior experience working in a QA position.
  • ISEB Qualification preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of web technologies ( XHTML / XML / Javascript / CSS)
  • Good working knowledge of database systems ( MySQL / Oracle / MS-SQL )
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Good working knowledge of J2EE application servers ( Apache Tomcat / Oracle Application Server / WebSphere )
  • Good working knowledge of *nix, Windows and Mac Operating Systems
  • Experience installing such platforms and deploying J2EE applications
  • Ability to work in an independently to achieve the objectives set
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Excellent communication skills
