Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
The Role
Reporting to the Software Architect, this role involves quality assurance of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager Web Content Management product and client implementations.
Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for all Quality Assurance of TERMINALFOUR's flagship product Site Manager to ensure the highest standards of quality as well as assist in the delivering of appropriate documentation.
The role will specifically involve the following:
- Responsibility for the thorough testing of TERMINALFOUR products & client implementations
- Development of suitable test plans, guidelines, and requirements in order to provide a high level overview of the testing planned for any particular case
- Complete thorough issue reports
- Construction of high level reports of the QA performed
- Consultation with developers and projects personnel to identify objectives and obtain necessary information
- Managing test team members as appropriate
Requirements
- IT/Computer science degree or third level equivalent
- 3 years experience in a QA role, ideally as QA team lead
- Good working knowledge of
- Web Technologies(XHTML / XML / Javascript / CSS)
- SQL & database systems (MySQL / Oracle / MS-SQL)
- J2EE application servers (Apache Tomcat / Oracle Application Server / WebSphere)
- Unix, Windows and Mac Operating Systems
- Experience with commercial and open source test automation tools
- Experience installing such platforms and deploying J2EE applications
- Ability to work in an independently to achieve the objectives set
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work cross functionally
- Excellent communication skills
