Sales & Bid Administrator
The Role
The rapid growth of TERMINALFOUR, both Nationally and Internationally, has driven a requirement for a Sales & Bid Administrator based in our Dublin office. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting quality proposal documents and responding to inbound leads, in order to allow TERMINALFOUR to respond more promptly to potential customers. Over the past year TERMINALFOUR has seen an increased number of inbound enquiries and also requests from potential customers to submit proposals or tenders. This role will help manage this increased demand and will further empower TERMINALFOUR's ambitious growth plans.
Excellent planning, writing and communication skills will form a key part of the role, which is vital to the continued growth of TERMINALFOUR.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
Proposal / Tender Administration
- Planning, architecting and controlling the submission of large proposal and tender documents ensuring that submission deadlines are met and TERMINALFOUR submit the best proposal possible.
- Building the majority of the proposal / tender documents from existing generic content. The document will then be completed by product experts and sales staff.
- Improving and updating existing generic (non technical) content used within proposal documents.
- Writing and editing new content which can be subsequently reused in future tender documents.
- Quality assurance and proof reading of the final proposal / tender documents
- Printing, assembling, binding and dispatching the final proposal / tender documents
- Managing and improving the tender submission process
Sales Administration
- Record inbound leads in our Customer Relationship Management System
- Initially respond to inbound website and telephone enquiries, perhaps sending further information such as case studies, whitepapers and brochures.
- Help prepare for external presentations and demonstration.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative role.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business and/or Marketing.
- Excellent writing skills and proof reading skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both potential clients and colleagues.
- Experience in a similar role is a distinct advantage.
- Very computer literate with advanced Microsoft Office, email and Internet skills.
- Highly organised and efficient, with a proven ability to implement & improve processes and systems.
- Proven ability to act on own initiative.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work under pressure.
