Account Manager

The Role

The rapid growth of TERMINALFOUR, both nationally and internationally, has driven a requirement for an Account Manager based in Ireland. The candidate will be responsible for account development and up selling to existing clients (initially throughout UK & Ireland).  This revenue generating role will report to TERMINALFOUR's CEO who is responsible for sales and marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Promote and pro-actively increase sales and manage relationships with existing clients.
  • Aim to uncover current and future business potential with existing clients via telephone, email marketing, face to face meetings & on-line product demonstrations.
  • Build solid relationships with clients and act as a point of contact for non-critical concerns or questions.
  • Work with other teams and personnel (including Support and Professional Services) to represent client interests, resolve customer concerns and contribute to an ethos of total customer satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of website and intranet development best practice, trends, market intelligence, regulatory or legislative implications and competitor offerings in order to offer our existing clients the best possible solutions and services.
  • Introduce and sell new service offerings to increase turnover and profitability with existing clients.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of opportunity/sales forecasting.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in a customer facing or Account Management role
  • Knowledge of various web platforms, applications, technologies, HTML/XML mark up and languages.
  • Experience of web development best practice including Accessibility, SEO, Search, Meta Data, Portals, Mobile Web, Sharepoint and eCommerce.
  • Knowledge of web development processes, tools and standards.
  • 3rd level degree or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of contributing to or supporting successful web or Intranet projects at a sales, project implementation or support level.
  • Interest in solving client’s web and intranet challenges.
  • Experience in capturing user requirements, documenting them and proposing solutions.
  • Experience in effectively imparting web / intranet expertise and consultancy.
  • Excellent inter-personal, communication and networking skills (written and verbal) with both clients and colleagues.
  • National and international travel required.
  • High energy, enthusiastic & self-motivated individuals.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills with a passion for hitting targets.
  • Highly organised and efficient with excellent time management skills.
